Almost as good as an Oscar

Yesterday I found out that some kind soul (or souls?) nominated Bird vs. Bird Designs for an Oakland Indie Award in the “Greenie” category. Although I have no expectations of actually WINNING, I’m touched and proud and all that fine stuff. Plus I get to got to the big shindig for FREE!
Tickets for the event are only $10, and I encourage all you Oakland-lovin’ types to check it out. Last year I was there as a vendor, and let me tell you, there was some darn tasty food and drink to be had.
By the by, if you’re reading this and it’s still April 1st or earlier, you can still nominate folks for awards, which includes chiming in with additional nominations for Bird vs. Bird (hint hint).
